Culturally significant across Europe, Asia, and Africa, it appears in literature from ancient Egypt to Shakespeare. This hand carved wooden hoopoe, 6.5"H, celebrates that remarkable bird.
Aviologie's style has elements of distressing and natural variation that are part of what makes each piece unique. Their photos represent the birds accurately, but they are individually hand carved pieces with the soul of variation, not cast resin replicas.
