The red knot is one of the great marathon migrants — travelling from the tip of South America to the Canadian Arctic and back, covering over 30,000 km each year. This hand carved wooden red knot in the straight pose, 8.5"H, honours that extraordinary bird with the distinctive brick-red breeding plumage carefully rendered by hand.
